There is something about eyes
That draws me in; keeps me there
It's tempting, he's haunting.

They are swollen and dark,
Or crystalline sky blue,
And a faded minty green:
Cats' eyes.

There is something about eyes
That captures who we are
In one tiny, round burst
Looked up inside of
Our most delicate possession.
