A curve of my lips,
the twitch of my hips...
watch for it and one will see
where it is I long to be.
A gleam in my eye...
a thought, it flows right on by
like the waters dancing over the rocks
Keys turn inside the locks.
Secret gems are set free
to once again be a part of me.
Once secured inside my heart
each an individual piece of art.
But open the door and off they run
Out amongst the flowers and sun
I very seldom get the chance
To let these beauties out to dance.
My feelings get locked inside of me
seldom ever to be let free
For if they see the light of day
Oh my life, it just may
cease to exist in the way that I know
the wind of change, it just may blow.
