Just take the freaking picture.

Okay, so its picture day. The day everyone spends that extra ten minutes on their hair, changing their out fit two or three times. All the while hoping miraculously that this will be the year. That all the pictures before this moment, this year were practice pictures, and now they will finally get a good one. But in the end, everyone’s pictures…suck.

Your head is either too tilted, or not tilted enough. You poor confused looking dog.

Your arm looks dislocated.

Your neck is too straight, not straight enough. You freaky looking giraffe.

Or perhaps its that one pathetically stupid strand of hair that somehow you missed while brushing your hair over a dozen times this morning. Four good hair days in a row, and suddenly your luck changes.

But its all:

Sit up,

Chin up,
Chin down,
Chin…just a little more up,

Arm back,

Neck straight,

Back straight,

And the worst part is your sitting there with your neck cracked to the side thinking; “Seriously? Just take the freaking picture, its going to be terrible regardless.” A picture is…suppose to capture a happy moment in your life. That’s why no one take pictures at funerals. So make it an enjoyable experience. And let us sit like a normal human being in a natural sitting pose. There’s no need for this nonsense.

i'm happy to read that taking pictures in school is all the same over the whole world, and that it sucks everywhere. :D and mm, that's a really good idea, taking pictures at a funeral, i think i might just do it next time (which hopefully will be a long time away into the future) i get the chance. :) remembering moments (not especially happy moments), isn't that what pictures are about? I mean, if it would be only happy moments, there wouldn't be any pictures of war or starving children or anything, would there be? ok, sry, really late (2:13 in the morning), going to sleep now :) and hihi, funny really that taking pictures at school is all the same around the world :)
