Lost at Sea.

My life is mediocre,

I feel that nothing i do is important.

I'm starting to find that the people I once knew are changing and drifting.

Is it really my friends that are drifting,

or is it me?

I've completely forgotten

what it feels like to walk on land.

I feel like i could capsize at any given moment.

And as i sail through the storm

I have no idea

where I'm going.

What I'm supposed to do.

I feel confined in this sea of vagueness

I feel this way sometimes, too, most often when I'm alone at home. But rather than admit to it, I make sure to appear confident and happy with how things are. Being unsure of what's going to happen is scary. I love the honesty and openness of this. Pieces of writing that reveal true character are the best. You can connect to them, and that's what makes them memorable. (:
