I am the audience to owls, Wolverine howls and feline mewls. Silence shattering symphony; The pounding rain its metronome. I am the observer of tears, Falling, falling onto pillows, Drawing spider webs on my face, Crawling slowly from burning eyes. I am the keeper of the time, The never ending broken beats Like a hammer to the head that Will not give me the death blow. I am a reader of the thoughts, Evanescent and opaque, which Race through my fragmented mind and Pull at the edges of my soul. I am not a victim of sleep, Slow soothing drug, Which numbs The⦠|
