Looking at yourself in the mirror

You stand and wonder will it ever go away

The feeling of never being enough

Never looking the part for anyone to love you

Closing your eyes you take two steps back

Hoping that when you open them all of what you had seen

Had just been a dream and it will all be over soon

Then you realize it wasn't a dream and then you start to cry

Looking at yourself one more time tear stained cheeks and red eyes

You finally give yourself the courage to say I am fine, but then realize it was a lie
