Give me peace
In medicine form
File my life away for days
Read the labels, understand
And disregard the warning
Mix with wine for sweetest dreams
Dangerous as I may seem
I rely on nothing but my own mistakes

Your voice makes me tremble
It echoes thru the night
And creeps into my sleeping eyes
I see you standing there beside me
Eyes wild with rage
Tasseled hair
A darkness in your soul

I wake with an expression of fear
Unable to recall the nightmare
Beads of sweat roll down my face
And in the midst of my surrounding panic
You lay there smiling in your sleep
