im an athiest, and my friends dont really care but they bug me about it sometimes. whenever somebody finds out their just like, "really?" or "thats weird" my friends have told me i should go to their churches and blah blah blah but like even if i went to a church, it wouldnt change my mind.

people have asked why i dont believe in god and you know what i say?
why dont you believe in wizards? dragons? fairies?
cause their not real? well what proof do we have of god? just because theirs a book about him? well god didnt send us that book, people wrote it. god is an idea, people use him as an explanation to explain what we dont understand. example: how the world was created

how do i think the world was created? how the heck would i know? i dont think well ever know for sure, anything we say can make sense because theres no evidence against it.

when i die, i dont know what will happen to me. im not saying there is a god, but im not saying theres not. if theres not then i havent spent my life worshipping an idea, and if there is i dont think he'd send me to endless torture in "hell" for not believing in him. is he soppost to doom me because i sed my brain? i dont think so.

because some people seem to not get this. id like to say that not believing in god is not the same as worshipping satin, it doesnt make athiests evil, were not here to burn your churches, or go on killing sprees against you. yes people have killed for those reasons, but people have also killed as an "act of god" or think about this, whole wars were started because of a difference in religion. what makes your religion right and theirs wrong? i guess athiesm isnt a religion, its the absence of religion. were not against it were not for it.. like switzerland
