My Wishing Well

And so I go hankering for a new life.
Some ultramodern rendition of my own self.
Something that befits me and pronounces my intentions...
be them good or evil.
But I am not the conspirator, the evil one.
I am not the quaint scheming little bastard.
I don't hurt. I don't kill. I don't win, I never lose.
I coexist with the inhabitants of this planet and the ubiquitousness of life's dilemma
We're all dying to know aren't we? Who are you, who am I?
We're all dying anyway...from birth on down.
And so we are mankind, perpetually doomed.
Forever cursed.
