Packed

I keep thinking of things I would like to write about, but then its at times when I'm not on the computer. Thats ok, if they are that important then Ill think of them again. Well Ive packed all of my 17 boxes and printer, ready to be picked up some time tomorrow morning. Feels weird, of coutse, but good. Since coming back after Xmas hols, apart from socialising at work with my colleague, the kids and parents and seeing a couple of other friends here, my time and mind has basically been dedicated towards moving back. In some way no point in coming back, apart from to arrange and do everything. Ive not made an special effort to meet anyone or do anything, and have even stopped going to choir. First I was all enthusiastic to continue going there, to learn the new pieces even if I will not be their for the concerts. However, kind of decided that although I have tried hard to be more confident about my singing there, I still have the general feeling that I am not really a big part of it, and dont meet any of the choir members socially either and well felt a bit pointless.

I am pleased that I have planned most things already and that the stages of leaving have spaces between them, so its not all at once. I had first thought that it was too early to move the boxes now, as I dont leave for another month, but it just worked out like that, and am now pleased about it. I am hoping I will have time, or more that I will make the time to have a proper reflection on my time here, will try and concentrate on what I liked about being here, (though it has certainly been quite a mixed time here) and how I have developed in a good way. One of those ways I can say straight away is that I have learnt to try and be more relaxed about things, and probably helped me to do things like tomorrow I have taken a day off, because the boxes are picked up. It may seem like a small thing, but before I know I would have only thought about the others at work, and would have been saying Ill come in as soon as the stuff has been picked up and work later, but this time realised there are enough people around tomorrow and so its ok. Ill stay at home.... Although Im not sure if Ill be able to develop to the next step and take the time to relax, am sure Ill end up cleaning (which is needed) and sorting other things out!
