PoetryFeb 25, 2008 - 17:45 PM PST So I have two poems that I recently found. The first is an older poem, and I have perfected it. The second is a newer poem that seeds a few more versus and more sense to be made. On the other hand I think I kind of like how the versus don't make sense together to anyone but me, but we will see what happens. Hope you enjoy. "The Lost Club" I sit all alone and broken in the bottom of the box the box marked "Lost and Found" I see all the toys that nobody wants Not even those who lost them and I feel so bad for the lonely lost toys that have no one to love them I make their aquantence I make them friends The Teddy Bear with no eyes who has the biggest sense of humor The Action Man with one arm Who uses that one arm to help everyone The Ball that is flat Who is the best pillow The days go by and I still haven't beed found and I know I never will I cry long and hard I am all alone The Teddy Bear tried to make me laugh The Action Man held me tight The Ball cushioned my tears As I cried in my forever lost state They stayed and conforted me Then I knew though I will never be found I have found the lost and the lost have found me I am still lost, but not alone So I begin to smile and laugh And my new friends join in. The eyeless Teddy Bear The one armed Action Man The squishy flat Ball And the newest addition, The Broken Girl. "Sing a Song" Cut my wrist and hope I die Stick a needle in my eye Stab me in the heart and pray I don’t come kill you one day. Twinkle, twinkle little star How I wonder where you are. I wish I may I wish I might Find a wish to wish tonight. Oh, come and sing a song with me Come stand by my side I want to sing a song with you I want to be your bride. |
