Shakespeare.Feb 27, 2008 - 15:33 PM PST With Romeo, till I behold him -dead- Is my poor heart for a kinsman vexed. Madam, if you could find out but a man To bear a poison, I would temper it, That Romeo should, upon receit thereof, Soon sleep in quiet. Oh, how my heart abhors To hear him named, and cannot come to him. To wreak the love I bore my cousin Upon his body that slaughtered him!" -Act III scene IV Romeo and Juliet Shakespeare is amazing. I don't think any other word can describe it. This has to be my favorite quote from Romeo and Juliet. I love how he wrote it so that it seems like Juliet hates Romeo but she is in love with him. |
