signifacant other 'forever'

All the people around me keep saying how they feel better when they are with someone, which is something I find extremely sad. What does that say about ones life if the only imortant things in it were the people they were with. Maybe it is because I don't have much experiance in that area, but I think you shouldn't base your life after relationships or base your relationships around your life, they should work together to make you happy. Now I get that sometimes you can feel lonely and unwanted when you are not with someone, but I don't think you should be with someone just to not feel lonely. Not only is it unfair for the other person involved but it is also bad if someone just accept a relation ship because it makes them feel better. I think this might be part of the problem with the divorse rate in todays society, people marry someone to make themselves feel better, but a marriage needs to be based on the want make the other person feel wanted.
