The Beginning

I'm all so new at this. I have nothing really creative to say or to write but I know that if I don't write something down now that I won't write later on when my creativity is spilling out my head like hand soap in a dish washer.

I had a break down today. Too much thought about becoming a nun and religion and belief and why so many others live by no belief system at all. I wonder why when some people make music or draw or create a movie nothing emotional is involved. Consider music that involves no emotion or a painting that says nothing or a film with no beauty, is that art? I don't think so, I know a lot of people that call themselves artists who write songs about things that involve no emotion or expression, what's the point. A song like that isn't art. A painting where the artist didn't care about what was he was trying to express isn't art. A painting with no technique involved or no planning or anything like that but shows how angry the artist was or how sad or how happy. That is art.

Another thing about me is that I don't understand people that want to just throw themselves away. Not sleep enough or eat enough. Perfectionists. Well, I like to sleep and eat. So now I must sleep so I can get up and eat and then go to school where I will proceed to learn to draw shoes.
