The truth and nothing more: My opinion of true love

When dealing with matters of the heart all you need to hear Is the truth and nothing more
They say white lies don’t hurt
but a lie can never be be a perk

For aeons I’ve carried around this chain and ball
holding myself prisoner to my own patrol
Until the day when the truth was said
no more,
no less,
just The truth with its magic glow

Bitter sweet memories made rich like honey
I’ve been absolved of my penance which required no money
Little did I know that my heart was right
It told me the truth and nothing more

Wish I can and wish I shall
That the happiness doesn’t have a finale
Without my life sentence my heart is content
Better have one amazing thing in you life than loose it Seeking something spectacular and spent

What fate holds no one knows
That’s something only time will show
For now all that is certain is that life has opened a brand new curtain
and in it is a world of options which will eventually decimate into vitality
Either as a friend or something more one thing is certain
You I do adore
As my invisibility cloak you’re always there to give me the upper hand,
to you no one can compare
In times of great trial and instability
You are the only source of tranquility

I promise not to dwell on what couldn’t be
For I’d be wasting precious time I could spend with thee
As a friend and as a guide
Or as a lover with nothing to hide

Either way the truth is this; nothing more, nothing less
No matter what fate decides
I shall always be in you debt
For thanks to you I learned of love,and life,
That’s more than most can say without strife,
Strife has long consumed their life
You my friend have granted me another start
Of which I want you to be a part
In whichever way fate decides
Either way with you by my side I know everything will be alright
