an iridescent crescent moon hanging from painted lashes
glowing with undeveloped reason.
tanned fingers combing through tangled locks
a full and beating heart filled to the brim with unconscious concern.
7 marble-sized pulsating murmurs within the chest.
a confused sense of logic burnt on the edges
and on the inside of a whirlwind set with peridot arms
laid to bed the casuistic acumen that pertains to a soft demeanor.
listen and learn.
taste and regret.
the cynicism that drips like honey from dull lips
serrated teeth and a red viciously
: swollen, pouting mouth around a silver tipped tongue
a vitreous and yet motley sensation of not existing.
diamonds melting into skin until a pearl exterior sloughs this marble essence.
a new beginning to a tragic end;
twisting illegitimate flavors around a colorless taste bud.
- so this is what they sadly and incorrectly label love
this is what they deem sacred above all else -
let us drink of this barren cup
and forever wane a thousand eternal lives with these copper tokens.

stop with your languid tongues!
poison breathing fire through your throat
~ i am resentful towards these tendencies
rock melting on this solid ground.
an amiable liar.
a poor choice in words and decisions
