What Humans LostMar 25, 2008 - 03:04 AM PST Broken musings have as little effect on our ears as on dead mortals. Time could not heal the human apathy. Thoughts as nymphs are supposed to have a wider purpose than they seem to deliver to us. Like you, my strongest power is perhaps what I can think. No one is able to dictate you how to think, or initially that was supposed to be the scheme of things. But who can deny the disparaging acts us human beings inflicted in the name of self-righteousness on natures’ wild beauty. It was monumental when something like that happened. The emphatic condemnation on little buds of beautiful expressions that otherwise seem too unnatural to our hackneyed ears. When God made us maybe He thought, I’m Creating a uniquely beautiful race, and now I can’t wait to see what follows it. Beauty is but an excuse of filial elements in disguise. The expression has lost its charm. Oft repeated sentences, words, now seem to me meaningless coagulations of the defeated soul, lost in a shallow depth of emotional trauma. Like a crescendo, explosions of passion, quickly disintegrate into passive vulgar statements, when we take too long to understand what actually beset upon us. Passion makes the world go round. Revolutions erupted like volcanoes just because of it. Faded, distant calls fail to rise one up like zealous, ardent ones. What we were meant to use to unite us now has fragmented the same race. Can you deny that not once in your life did you make use of baroque, flowery words to twist the situation in your favour? Can you deny that not once did you hear some other person using the same zeal and zest to deliver but a meaningless, venal, empty rhetoric that makes sense to us, but never penetrates our minds. A paradox, that seems to mock at our fox-like cunning to try to trick what we consider the greater forces. How can we then, emboldened by hazy tears and self-pity, question Almighty when we ourselves sold our souls? How is it that not once acknowledging our own actions and the consequences they were going to lead to we begrudgingly heap all the blame on His doorstep? The tender human sensibilities never fail to amuse me. When making sensationalist claims why do we overlook the fact that the world is round? And to go through this miasma of fear, for nothing. I’m sorry; I feel that I’m repeating the same gaffe I pointed out. Clarity is the soul of the world. Humans lost their race with the other beings, in that we successfully deprived ourselves of passion, commitment and honesty. I salute you. May you meet your end the way you’ve already sculpted it out, a figment of your imagination. |
