Wow Life Is So Short

I just found out the other day that a guy I use to date (he cheated on me with his ex) died. He was only 36. The sadest part is that his 5 year old daughter is the one who found him. I would hate to loose my dad 3 days before christmas. I mean granted he cheated and i dumped him, I still remaind close to his oldest daughter. I never thought something like this could ever happen to me agian, but it did. This summer marks the 5th Anniversary of my true loves death. His name was Keith. Keith died in a horrific car accident (that I happen to be on call for). When we arrived on the secene we had no clue who it was till I stepped out of the truck. (by the way I was a EMT-I) First thing I had to was tend to the frail body laying on the ground. To my suprise it was Keith. The hardest thing to do in life it to let go of those we have lost. It is even worst when you have tell yourself they are gone and that you couldn't save them, when you have saved others. But, it was a hard time for me and shortly after that call I hung up my jumpsuit to never look back. Somedays I feel him with me, but I know soon enough we will see each other agian. This has been one weird year for me I have lost two grandfather's and an ex. Hopefully, 2008 makes a better year for everyone. To those who had lost this year you have my deepest sympathy, and my deepest hope for moving on past the pain.
