WTF was I thinken

So I managed to down load yet another Virus or Virus related program. I thought It was safe but turns out I was tricked and down loaded the so called "XP Antivirus 2008". I was browsen on myspace this morning before I went to work. The past couple mornings this program has prompt me to download it cause I have Infections and Intrusions, I did hasetate cause I know enough about computers to know what's good and what's not good... I clicked yes took me to the site looked lagit dl the program It runs a scan finds 137 virus's I was looken at some of them they were pretty seriouse or so they made me think. After the scan I clicked fix problems ha you have to register. So I said fuck this closed the program ran norton anti virus but the thing I dl was running in my sys tray kept popen shit up norton found something but fixed It then I ran Spyware/Addaware scan found stuff then removed it... but the program I dl kept sayen I had infections. I wrote my dad a lil note explaining what I did and tellen him to look at it if he had time. He called me at work around 12ish told me what I dl couldn't be unistalled nore shut down he did everything he could but I dl a virus... When I got home I told him what happend showed him the site where I dl it from, can't really do much except back up all my important stuff on to his portable drive then he Is gonna reformat It for me.

Normaly I'm careful about these kinda of things cause I've learned over the years what a virus can do to a computer let alone a hacker. I bought a new computer well bought the case all the parts scraped some stuff from the old computer. Me and dad put it together. Were what you call Tech Junkies haha He has worked with computers since the Comador64 day's he never went to shcool he is self taught over the years his skills advanced into other house electronics. We have more then a handful of computers most of them were built buy the Dad me dad and my brother all have tv's and souroundsound systems computers have suroundsound as well..lol we all over our video games and music. Funny my dad is in his early 60's still plays computer games.
