Reading
,Anything by Jack London,The Avalon series of books by Marion Zimmer Bradley,Edgar Allan Poe,Shakespeare, and a bunch of other Ex-English Majory things :-p. I'm also a HUGE fan of Kelley Armstrong and her Women of the Otherworld series, and any books having to do with werewolves that aren't in the "heaving bosom" category (AKA Girly romance novels).,
Singing
,I was in choir from 6th grade up until my junior year in college. I really only stopped because I wasn't too fond of FGCU's new choral director and her taste (or lack thereof) in music. Currently looking for a church choir,or even a community choir or vocal teacher,to get involved with. My voice has seriously gone down hill since I stopped singing, and it's depressing. Not to mention I miss singing in Latin and belting out high notes (well, high notes for a Second Soprano).,
Writing
,I love writing, what more can I say? My secret wish has always been that I would have been a Creative Writing major instead of English then Marketing. But,alas, unless you're really good you barely make enough to breathe off of,much less eat. And seeing as how I'm not ready to stake everything on the chance that I might be good,I figure I'll try writing on the side before giving up the opportunity of a well-paying day job for it.,
RPing
,This is my number one way of expressing my creative writing side nowadays. I have been role playing online for the past six or seven years. It's not like D&D (though I do do tabletop RPing once in every blue moon). It's basically just a couple people get together, make up their own characters, then write a story by taking turns writing their characters' parts in the story taking place. It's fun.
My best friend and I decided, after years of RPing on other people's sites,to make our own,
I want to make a difference in someone's life, I don't care whose. I sponsor a little girl in El Salvador, her name is Keylas. I'll throw up a photo when I get the chance. I love her to death and I am so thankful that God has provided me with the resources, and the opportunity, to change the lives of Keylas and others in her community for the better.
